Auto approve zaps with the power of budgeting

Zapping is pretty easy with Nostr Wallet Connect. You zap a bunch of notes in your nostr client and then approve those zaps inside your wallet. But what if it was just a little bit easier?

Today, we're shipping "auto approve" so you can set up Wallet Connections that auto-pay requests within a limit. For instance, you can set a daily budget for 1,000 sats. Zap like crazy, and those zaps will be paid automatically the next time you open Mutiny Wallet until you hit the limit. Your budget will reset the next day, and you can zap your heart out again.

To set up a budget, check the "auto approve" checkbox, then pick the amount and the interval. You can also edit existing wallet connections. There is no need to reconnect Mutiny to your nostr client if you've already set it up.

Auto approve is a simple concept, but we wanted to ensure we could pair it with budgeting before unleashing it on the world. Without auto approve, NWC is like having the nostr client send you a bill. With auto approve, it's more like the nostr client is storing your credit card: more power, more responsibility. The budget is a nice safety net if your NWC connection string falls into the wrong hands.

And for those more compulsive zappers among us, a budget is an excellent way to keep track of your spending. Every sat is precious!
