Today, we step into a new phase of Mutiny with our first team expansion.

A Year of Mutiny

We launched the Mutiny Wallet a little over a year ago. It was a personal mission to build the wallet we wanted to use. Since then, we've improved it with features like auto payments, Nostr contacts, and the addition of ecash. That last one enabled the most significant feature for Mutiny+ subscribers: a federated Lightning Address with privacy built in.

Last week, we unveiled our latest privacy project, Harbor, a testament to our unwavering commitment to privacy and freedom. Built on the foundation of ecash, Harbor is designed to enhance your Bitcoin experience. We are constantly exploring new avenues to develop tools that empower individuals. Our mission is clear: to bring privacy, sound money, and freedom tech to every corner of the globe, ensuring that billions of people can enjoy the benefits of these technologies.

New Member of the Mutiny Team

With that in mind, we're excited to introduce you to Marks, the newest member of the Mutiny team. Marks brings experience building software for small startups and the largest tech companies. His apps at Canvas were the first of their kind, setting a new standard for what teachers and students could accomplish on a device. At an indie app company, he built top-rated apps to help children overcome speech impediments. Most recently, he built technology for customers and employees at Apple's stores worldwide, helping launch multiple iPhones and the Vision Pro.

Fittingly, Marks has been a Bitcoiner since 2013. After working on technology platforms and products through three halvings, he couldn't sit on the sidelines anymore. He wants to put his full energy into making permissionless money accessible to anyone. He sees the privacy and scalability of Bitcoin as key areas to make that happen.

Marks steps into Mutiny's Chief Product Officer (CPO) role, with Paul shifting to Chief Experience Officer (CXO). Marks is on Nostr, Twitter, and the airwaves with the Freedom Tech Wrap show. Find him online or at a conference and say hello!
